Thank you to everyone who supported our Virtual Shoebox Drive in 2020! We are so grateful that we were able to provide gifts to local women impacted by homelessness during this particularly difficult time.
The drive is now over until next holiday season, but you can support our efforts all year long!
Here's how you can help in the off-season:
Cette année, nous nous sommes tous sentis isolés, et en particulier les femmes dans les refuges. Remplir une Boîte à chaussures peut sembler différent cette année, mais son impact est le même.
Créez une Boîte à chaussures virtuelle et en quelques minutes, vous rappellerez à une femme touchée par l’itinérance qu’elle est appréciée et que quelqu’un se sent concerné par son bien-être.

Helping people on the street with the Shoebox Project
I am a wife, mother, and pharmacist currently living in the community of Maple Ridge. Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan, education and career changes gave my family and I the opportunity to live in six beautiful Canadian cities over the past ten years, with British Columbia’s coast being our favorite of all. My volunteer and fundraising history spans more than a decade, from painting custom window murals for care homes during the holidays, to designing luxurious Christmas tree displays for the Saskatoon Festival of Trees, to helping coordinate large-scale fundraising benefits. I strongly believe in transforming passion for a cause into action, to ‘not just talk but do,’ and to use the skills, talents, and resources available to us to make the world a better place. I am delighted to be serving The Shoebox Project and being part of the cause of empowering women to persevere with grace and dignity, even through the most difficult of times.
