Support an Existing Local Chapter

You are the organizational backbone of your local chapter. By managing the flow of information and maintaining accurate records, you ensure that our team remains efficient and that every donation is tracked, accounted for and communicated. Your work behind the scenes directly enables the Chapter to deliver kindness and support to women in your community.

Our larger Chapters in more expansive regions naturally need more help!  You are the operational and community link for our holiday initiatives! Working closely with your Local Chapter Coordinator, you will lead the full lifecycle of a local gift drive in your neighbourhood, from building community relationships to managing the logistics of inspections and shelter distributions. This is an incredible team-based leadership role for someone who loves to connect with people and make a direct local impact. You are in the middle of all of the action during community drives and you thrive on being a part of it all!

You like to be on the move and in the action! Assist with pick up and delivery of items throughout your chapter’s Shoebox drive as needed. This may include distributing flyers, gathering fundraising items, picking up Shoeboxes from public drop-off locations, etc. Most importantly this will involve what we've all been working towards, delivery of our Shoebox gifts to our shelters!

You like the 'Ask' and are the engine behind the resources that help the Chapter thrive. You will work as a key member with your Local Chapter Coordinator to develop creative funding strategies, secure vital donations, and build lasting community relationships.

Limited time or just love to spread the love? This is the opportunity for you! We always want to ensure our gifts have a handwritten note of support for our recipients. This is one of the most important ways to show we care and value the women in our community. Knowing someone cares can have a huge impact on wellbeing. Let’s show her, she matters and help her really feel it.

You are the bridge between various community groups and our mission. You will leverage your fabulous networking skills to build community partnerships, help secure vital resources, inspire and organize the logistics for groups reaching out to engage in meaningful social responsibility while creating and having a fun experience for those involved.

This team bridges the gap between the generosity of the public and the impact on the recipient and serves as the final touchpoint of care before a gift reaches its final destination. Those involved ensure that every gift is not only safe and appropriate but also beautiful and filled with hope. This role is perfect for those who love to create a sense of warmth and presentation ensuring each Shoebox donated is a gift you would like to receive yourself.

You are the digital storyteller for our mission. You will use your creativity and technical savvy to build a local community of supporters, raise awareness about women’s homelessness, and drive the success of our gift campaigns through strategic online engagement.
