Just like a fundraiser, a Shoebox-Raiser brings people together for a great cause but instead of collecting monetary donations, your guests assemble Shoeboxe gifts!
Offering a tangible gift is a powerful reminder to a woman that she is seen, valued, and a respected member of her community, especially during times when she may feel isolated or alone.
Community groups are welcome to create and collect Shoeboxes independently and drop them off during designated dates (check with your local chapter) without prior arrangements. Other groups prefer to connect with their local chapter in advance to share their plans or coordinate extra support for their drive.
If you have a team interested in organizing a gift drive or volunteering during the holiday season in an area with an active Local Chapter, getting involved is simple. Please contact your Local Coordinator to discuss their current needs and timelines for accepting gifts. Our head office is unable to accept physical Shoeboxes directly.
Note: If there isn't an active Chapter in your community and you would still like to support us, consider a donation to help our other active chapters across Canada with their gift drive goals.
