My name is Caitlin Lyall, and I’ve been the Local Coordinator for The Shoebox Project in St. John’s since 2023. I’m passionate about ensuring women in our community feel supported and remembered through shoebox gifts during the holidays, Mother’s Day, and International Women’s Day. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve reached our goal each year, and I’m looking forward to another successful year!

The St. John's Shoebox Project occupies the ancestral, traditional and contemporary lands of the Beothuk, Mi’kma’ki First Nations. In particular, our Chapter resides on land ceded in the Peace & Friendship Treaty. We recognize and support the Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were forcibly removed from their homelands. In offering this land acknowledgement, we affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history and experiences.
