I am a passionate advocate for community building in Simcoe County and beyond, dedicating my time and efforts to giving back and supporting those in need. The Shoebox Project for Women deeply resonates with me due to its positive impact on women facing challenges. I believe this charity is a powerful way to unite the community and serves as an important reminder that, no matter the adversity, every woman matters. Having volunteered alongside Shannon for many years, I am honoured to step into the role of Coordinator and continue this meaningful legacy. I look forward to fostering connections within the community and making a difference in the lives of women in need.

Our holiday drive has officially come to an end, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to those in our community who donated, volunteered, and supported us to reach our goals. Your generosity helped make the holiday season special for the women we serve.
Thank you for standing with women and helping us create lasting impact each and every year. We look forward to all that 2026 will bring and we invite you to join us as we continue our mission again next season!

The Shoebox Project for Women - Simcoe County Chapter acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples. We recognize and honour the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples on this land, their profound connection to it, and their contributions throughout history. We express our gratitude to the Indigenous communities and elders who have stewarded this land for generations and continue to do so. We are committed to learning from and working in partnership with Indigenous communities towards truth, healing, and reconciliation. As we carry out our mission to support women, girls, two-spirit and gender-diverse individuals in Simcoe County, we acknowledge the importance of understanding and respecting the land, culture, and traditions of the Indigenous peoples upon whose territories we reside.
