I am honoured to serve as the Local Chapter Coordinator for The Shoebox Project’s Regina Chapter. Volunteering has always been close to my heart, and joining this initiative felt like a natural extension of my commitment to community care and connection. The Shoebox Project’s mission resonates deeply with me. What drew me in was its heartfelt simplicity: a shoebox filled with thoughtful items and messages can remind a woman that she is seen, valued, and worthy of dignity and compassion. As a first-year coordinator, I’m excited to help foster the organization’s vision and I’m committed to rallying support from local businesses and compassionate individuals across Regina, and to helping create moments of hope, dignity, and connection for women in our city. Regina is my home, and I believe in building a community where every woman feels supported—not just during the holidays, but all year round.
