The Muskoka Shoebox Project occupies the ancestral, traditional and contemporary lands of the Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, Mississauga. In particular, our Chapter resides on land ceded in the Robinson-Huron (Treaty 61, 1850) & Williams 1923. We recognize and support the Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were forcibly removed from their homelands. In offering this land acknowledgement, we affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history and experiences.
