Hi, I’m Marissa. I have been involved with the Shoebox Project for over 10 years, curating and delivering carefully selective items to women’s shelters in the Montreal area, I am a lover of footwear and sell to many Canadian Retailers across Canada! I Am an especially Proud Mom to an amazing boy, who I take along with me when collecting, making boxes, and doing shelter drop-offs, for the beautiful women in our lives. I am a firm believer, that we all have the time to give a little, especially to causes that directly affect our hearts!

"The Montréal Shoebox Project occupies the ancestral, traditional and contemporary lands of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee). In particular, our Chapter resides on land ceded in the Great Peace of Montréal, 1701. We recognize and support the Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and those who were forcibly removed from their homelands. In offering this land acknowledgement, we affirm Indigenous sovereignty, history and experiences."
