We are deeply passionate about supporting women in our community and creating meaningful moments of care and connection through our work with The Shoebox Project for Women Manitoba Chapter. Nina has been the Coordinator of the Manitoba Chapter since 2023, leading the program with a strong commitment to community impact and connection. Paulette has been a dedicated volunteer with the Shoebox Project since 2016, bringing years of compassion, reliability, and care to the women we serve. Through her time as a volunteer, Paulette also supported the program in a leadership capacity, helping guide and organize volunteers along the way. Now working together as Co-Coordinators, we bring both leadership and hands-on experience to our roles. We have seen firsthand the impact a thoughtfully prepared shoebox can have, reminding women experiencing or at risk of homelessness that they are seen, valued, and not alone. Together, we are honoured to lead this chapter and to work alongside an incredible community of donors and volunteers. We believe in the power of small acts of kindness, especially during the holiday season, to spark dignity, hope, and connection. Each shoebox is more than a gift. It is a message of care from one woman to another.
