Thank you to everyone who supported our Virtual Shoebox Drive in 2020! We are so grateful that we were able to provide gifts to local women impacted by homelessness during this particularly difficult time.
The drive is now over until next holiday season, but you can support our efforts all year long!
Here's how you can help in the off-season:
In 2013, there were 2,080 households living Dufferin County that were in the core housing need.
60% of survey respondents living in Dufferin County cited relationship breakdown as a top reason that led to their homelessness.
According to Homeless Hub, 51.6% of single mothers living in Canada are low income.

The Shoebox Project provides a connection between women impacted by homelessness with the community of women who understand and want them to know that they are special and not forgotten. Please join us in reminding women they have value, are wanted, and not alone.
